Today is GivingTuesday, an opportunity for people, communities, and businesses to give back by supporting causes and performing acts of kindness and advocacy. We’re big fans of #GivingTuesday here at SoapBox!

SoapBox’s #MakingKidsHeard campaign aims to create awareness around the power of speech recognition to deliver joy and agency to young kids through their voices. Over the coming months, we’ll be using this campaign to build community with other organizations who are also working to make kids’ voices heard in so many different and wonderful ways. One of those organizations is Defending the Early Years (DEY).

DEY is a non-profit working for a just, equitable, and quality early childhood education for every young child, and in the spirit of GivingTuesday, we’re giving back by making a donation to this wonderful organization.

Why we support DEY?

  • They’re for equitable education for all children.
  • They’re for learning through play.
  • They’re for empowering teachers and educators with the tools they need to give all kids impactful learning experiences.
  • They’re making kids heard!

Here’s to DEY and their advocacy in creating better childhood learning experiences. If you or your organization would also like to make a donation to DEY, you can donate here
