As part of our literacy focused partnership with Microsoft, we embarked on a short research study to demonstrate the efficacy of using speech recognition for early readers.
The aim of the study was to help education companies interested in integrating our technology to understand how voice technology can help young readers.
The pilot took place in Q1 2019 and as the white paper discusses, the results were positive and statistically significant.
In May 2019, SoapBox Labs collaborated with thought leader and anthropologist Dr. Veronica Barassi on this submission to the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in relation to kids’ data rights in the digital world.
