Voice-Enabling for Kids is Easy. Just Ask Rob.
March 5, 2021
My name is Rob O’ Regan and I’m the VP of Engineering here at SoapBox Labs. The mission of our engineering team has always been to enable great voice experiences for kids. We started on this mission 8 years ago and have since become the leading solution in the market, in part because we offer an API integration experience that’s straightforward and seamless.
Our voice solutions stand out from the crowd because they actually work for kids. They are also flexible enough to cover the whole range of immersive “Play & Educate” use cases envisioned by our global brand clients.
So what do we mean when we say our voice technology is easy to integrate?
SoapBox Labs’ APIs are built to deliver functional integrations quickly and easily. Indeed, many of our clients have brought their integrations live within 24 to 48 hours (i.e., it’s a low-code and straightforward API implementation).
We use standard, RESTful APIs your engineers will be familiar with. We also use straightforward URLs, HTTP response codes, and standard HTTP features, which are understood by HTTP clients.
In 2021, there’s a strong and functionally diverse ecosystem of developers creating integrations on top of our APIs across literacy and language tools, smart toys, games, or robots. Join them on your journey to voice-enabled kids’ experiences by giving your engineers a low-code solution they’ll enjoy working with.
