Engineers, computational linguists, and product specialists, unite!
The SoapBox Tech Blog is now live on Medium. ? VP of Engineering Rob O’ Regan explains its purpose: “SoapBox is building cutting edge voice AI, and we want to celebrate our world-class team of engineers, speech scientists, and product owners, whose expertise and hard work improves our voice engine every day. Our new Medium blog is where these experts get to share their stories about building the world’s most accurate voice engine for kids.”
Last Thursday, Founder Dr. Patricia Scanlon spoke at an event celebrating the winners of the inaugural TECS competition, co-hosted by the University of Limerick’s new ISE degree (Immersive Software Engineering) program. Stripe, through co-founder and President John Collison, have been instrumental in the development of this new engineering degree, whose goal is to turn “curious and creative people like you into the best software engineers in the world.”
