Soapbox Labs named Honoree in Fast Company‘s World Changing Ideas Awards 2019


Soapbox Labs is delighted to announce our inclusion in Fast Company‘s World Changing Ideas (WCI) Awards 2019. Fast Company selected Soapbox for an Honorable Mention in the Education category, one of the most popular categories of the Awards. The WCI Awards receives thousands of entries every year and chooses only 300 companies as Honorees across all categories.

Commenting on the news, CEO Dr. Patricia Scanlon said: “It’s great to get this level of global recognition for Soapbox Labs and our best-in-class Children’s Speech Recognition technology. We set ourselves a high bar for accuracy for our technology and work with key partners in the Education space to help drive social change through literacy and language assessment programs globally. World Changing Ideas is one of Fast Company’s major annual awards programs and is focused on social good, seeking to elevate finished products and brave concepts that make the world better. 2019 saw the highest level of entries in the Awards’ three year history which attracts companies from New Zealand to Shanghai to Switzerland. Other 2019 Honorees include IBM, Siemens, advertising giant DDB Group Germany, UpSolve, Aira, Energy Vault, Planned Parenthood, eBay, and Alibaba-owned food platform Eleme.
